CIPS Applied Learning (Corporate Award) is practical, coursework-based training in procurement and supply that can be contextualised to your business or your industry, offering a professional route to MCIPS and beyond to ExDip status.

Each of the three levels of a programme - Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, and Master Practitioner - provides a pathway for your team to build their professional competence and status.


The core modules within each level of a programme are shown below:

Programme levels and modules


Athe end of most modules the level of skills and knowledge acquired is assessed through an assignment.
Assessed assignments can be, for example, a related report, discussion paper, project, board paper, journal article or case study
applied to the student’s organisation. The final assessed assignment requires a written submission and, typically, an oral presentation.
At Master Practitioner level the final assessed assignment is a dissertation (business project).

Each module consists of two face-to-face training days or workshops followed by an assignment, for example, a report, project, or case study applied to the student’s organisation. The final assignment requires a written submission and, typically, an oral presentation. The assignments are independently and rigorously assessed.

Training can be delivered in a range of ways to suit your organisation’s work patterns and the location of your staff anywhere in the world. These include e-learning, live webinars and interactive, industry expert-led workshops.
